The Sindh High Court (SHC) directed the IO to submit summons to the concerned court regarding the bail applications of the suspects detained in connection with the May 9 riots.

Appearing before a two-judge bench comprising Justice Agha Faisal and Justice Abdul Mubeen Lakho, the public prosecutor confirmed receipt of challans in the cases. However, Justice Faisal asked, "Has the challan been presented to the court?" The public prosecutor said that the challan has not yet been delivered to the concerned court.
